Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Bridgepoint Impact Communications ("Bridgepoint Impact", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of everyone who visits this website or contacts us through it. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

Bridgepoint Impact Communications is a strategic impact-communications and media management consulting agency. For the purposes of applicable data protection law — including Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 and, where relevant to our international donor and development-sector clients, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — Bridgepoint Impact is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to bridgepointimpact@gmail.com.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us — primarily when you submit our contact/consultation request form. This may include:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your phone number, if you provide one
  • Your organisation name and type (corporate, NGO/development organisation, donor, government, or other)
  • The service you are enquiring about and the message you send us

We also automatically collect limited technical information when you browse the site, such as the page you arrived from and, where present, UTM campaign parameters — this helps us understand which channels bring visitors to us. If you start a conversation with us via WhatsApp, that exchange is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy in addition to this one.

3. How we use your personal data

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the consultation, advisory, or communications services you have requested
  • To follow up on a submitted enquiry and, where appropriate, to send you relevant information about our services
  • To understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it
  • To meet our legal, contractual, and reporting obligations

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of: your consent (for example, when you submit the contact form or accept cookies); our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating and improving this website; and, where we go on to provide services to you or your organisation, the performance of that engagement.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items, described in full in our Cookie Policy.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run this website and respond to enquiries — for example, our website hosting provider, and, where enabled, a live-chat provider (Tawk.to) for real-time support. These providers only process your data on our instructions and for the purposes described in this policy.

We may also disclose personal data where required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bridgepoint Impact, our clients, or others.

7. International data transfers

Because we work with corporate, government, and development-sector clients and donors around the world, personal data we hold may occasionally be transferred to, or accessed from, countries outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and contact data for as long as necessary to respond to you, to maintain our business relationship if one develops, and to meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

9. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration — including restricting access to enquiry data to authorised team members and securing our administrative systems behind authentication.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: request access to the personal data we hold about you; request that we correct inaccurate data; request that we delete your data; object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing; request a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at bridgepointimpact@gmail.com.

11. Children's privacy

This website and our services are directed at organisations and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The date this policy was last updated is shown on this page.

13. Contact us

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at bridgepointimpact@gmail.com or +234 813 608 9986.
